Apropos of nothing :)

I've been working on this for a few days. Finally found the right reference pics. I was planning to replace the Apple logo at startup on my computer with her, since I heard you can do that, but it turns out they changed the way it works in the Intel machines and I can't anymore. Oh well. HT want a mascot? :D

She needed a friend :) Hopefully this one looks a little more Polynesian.

I didn't mean this thread just for me, btw... anyone else in here do any art? Painting? Quilting? Cross-stitching? Don't be shy! ;)

Nice artwork... looks like you need an avatar...why not use that!

I think people with artistic ability are brilliant....

I think my 2 year old son can color better than me now.:o

Thanks :) This is a hobby I try to use to wind down from brain-work at work (though I was considering going and taking some classes).

I was thinking of making an avatar out of one of them actually... ;)

Edit: That looks pretty nifty as an avatar, though it makes me wanna cry thinking about all the detail work that's been reduced to 70 pixels :D
