So the DOT decided to do repair work on a holiday and mess everyone up. Did they notify the public about this "scheduled" work? I don't remember seeing any
notices in the papers or any faxes coming into the radio stations. It's nice they're apologizing,after the fact(as usual),but once again,communication
seems to be a problem. Or did I miss the memo? It's been known to happen before...:)

It's nice they're apologizing,after the fact(as usual),but once again,communication seems to be a problem.

The apology I heard was about how they chose to do major roadwork on a "holiday" that is not observed by many businesses (ie employers), so the traffic was much heavier than it would have been on something like Labor Day or Memorial Day or Presidents Day. "Sorry 'bout dat, not everyone is a State or Federal employee."
