I HATE Friends! I have tried to watch it many times, but I can't stand it. It's not funny...it's dumb. I also don't think Scrubs or the Office is funny also.
What shows HT do you HATE that everybody loves?

30 Minute Meals with Rachel Ray! Gawd you can't get away from Ms. Perky. Not only does she have the 2 TV series on the Food Network, but everytime you go into the supermarket, you see her little E-V-O-O face on Nabisco cracker boxes and on the magazine stand.

"Cheers", "Frasier", "American Dad", "60 minutes", "The O'Reilly Factor" and every Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs game.

ACCCCK!
Add all of her shows to my list. I CANNOT STAND RACHEL RAY. In any way, shape or form. Screeching, flailing, gesturing. That fingernails-on-chalkboard shriek of a voice grates on my last nerve. Eyes rolling, head lolling, she waxes orgasmic over even the lamest POS food.
I watched her "$40 a Day" show featuring Oahu out of curiosity. OMG. You'd think the bimbo could at the very least learn to pronounce some of the names here.
But nooooooo. Haleiwa became "ha-LAY-eeee-wah." She bastardized several other names, including Duke Kahanamoku. Gimme a break---it's your damn JOB to speak. Speak correctly!
Okay I feel better now.

"Deal or No Deal". It continues to win Monday Night at 8pm EST, and there are much better shows on at that time that should be consumed by viewers. Silly show, IMO.

Almost any reality show. The Amazing Race and Rockstar:INXS/Supernova are the only exceptions, and I can tolerate American Idol. I just can't see the appeal in anything else.

Another show I hate, but everyone raves about is Grey's Anatomy. To me it's not enough hospital and too much doctor's private lives. Who cares what the docs do outside of work? I like medical dramas when it's in the hospital.

My niece, who's now away at college, has the entire DVD set of FRIENDS at home.
Personally, I've never seen even one episode of FRIENDS. I don't even know who the FRIENDS are!

I absolutely cannot stand Rachel Ray. Everytime she opens her mouth, I just want to SHAKE HER.
I can tolerate most of the shows currently on -- except for American Idol. I stopped watching during Season 4, didn't bother to tune it at all til the finale of Season 5 and don't plan to watch it at all for Season 6.
I used to say the same thing for Grey's Anatomy until I watched it for the first time last season and needless to say, I'm hooked. My friends know better than to call me while I'm watching it.

These shows aren't on the air anymore, but:
Twin Peaks: People I worked with were always raving about it, so I tried watching it once. I went to work the next day and asked what the hell that show was supposed to be about. The answer: "I don't know! Isn't it COOL?"
The X Files: I watched it a few times in the early days, then it acquired a cult following, and gradually stopped making sense. During one of the later seasons I tried watching it with a friend, and couldn't make anything out of it. I asked my friend what was going on, and she said "I don't know! Isn't it COOL?"
And that is why I refuse to watch Lost, even though it's OMG SO COOL. I have absolutely no patience for shows that don't make sense. It's lazy storytelling masquerading as "art."

If LOST makes sense, it'd be boring. :p
(Hey, I'm a genre fan.)
The View because of Rosie.
American Idol because it's mainstream and full of screaming girls.
Law and Order (all of them) because they're so "blah."
And last but not most important, the entire MyNetworkTV programming. Shame on KFVE and KIKU for not getting CW (which can only be seen on cable and HD TV).
