For those of us who has them, do you use your fog lights?
I don't use mines unless its raining or I see another car like mine at night.

Since I live in FOG ridden Oregon, Yes!
All the stinking time.
Too bad I don't have a set in my foggy head!

The fog lights on my car come on automatically when I need them (I have a very smart car;) )

I enjoy extra light on the road whenever I can. Heck.. in my 4x4 if I could run with my offroad lights I'd love it! Bad night eyes so I drive careful in the dark especially if it's raining.

Only in the Volcano or Saddle Road areas other than that, I drive home on instruments.;)

I have no choice - I have daytime running lights (they come on if I'm in drive and my parking brake is off). And I can't believe, as long as they've been out there, that there are still people out there who try to alert me during the day telling me my lights are on.

Fog lights or driving lights? They are actually different though most regard them as the same thing.

I was thinking the same thing. I use em up Volcano or Hamakua side where the fog gets a bit thick (but not pea soup as it does in Colorado). I've never seen fog or enough of it on Oahu to consider using it.
Try using those amber Blue Blockers when driving at twilight or in fog. They make a tremendous difference.
As for driving lights after living out here on the Big Island where street lights are a rarety, I can't imagine having to use them on Oahu (having lived there all my life).

Yep, I was wondering because using driving lamps in fog may actually be counterproductive as it produces a lot of glare bouncing back to the driver.
Oahu's overlit IMO. I see no need for streetlights on Likelike, Pali, H1, H2, and H3; except at on-ramps, off-ramps, and interchanges. Imagine the savings to the city/county in terms of cost of street lamps, power bill, and these days, copper wire. :D

I have to beg to differ, especially on the Pali. I remember when Pali Highway had no lights above Waokanaka. Scary dark. I'd rather be in a well-lit area if my car conks out. At least I can see where to throw out the pork chops.

Pali Highway without lights are about as typical as any highway on the Big Island. You get used to it.
If the State and CC of Honolulu turned off every other light on the public streets, they'd instantly save 50% on street lighting.
I remember one night around 11:40pm My wife and I had just picked up our VW Vanagon from a friend's auto shop and was making our way back up the Pali to Kaimuki. Coming outta the second town bound tunnel the engine died. I told my wife to hop in my car and go back to our friend and bring a tow wagon while I waited with the dead van.
As I was waiting I told myself, "If some lady with long grey hair comes up and asks for a ride I'm gonna run like sissy towards the Honolulu City lights.
