Just wondering if anyone in here has ever been to Easter Island. Seems like a cool place to see.

(you might want to think about using the island's proper name of Rapa Nui)

You say Potato, I say Pototto....I was going to say Rapa Nui, but Easter Island is it's more commonly known name now. When you look it up on travel sites, they call it Easter Island...when you read it's history, they call it Rapa Nui.

Actually the proper or ancient name would be "Te Pito o Te Henua"(The Navel of the World) "Te Pito Te Kainga"(The naval of Mother Earth) as called by the native Polynesians.
It was called RapaNui by a Tahitian in the 19th century
Before that Easter island by some dutch dude.
tikiyaki-nope, I've never been. I know some ancestors who probably did a long long long time ago. lol But yes, that place is interesting to say the least. A very spiritual place that has great Mana.

and don't forget "Isla de Pascua", it's Spanish name, as it is a part of Chile. You can only get there from Santiago on Lan Chile Airlines (or Papeete as the flight goes Santiago, Hanga Roa then Papeete and back.
