Saw The Last Mimzy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0768212/) at Ward Theater this afternoon.
I was initially interested in this movie by the previews where a couple of kids play around with wormholes or portals. In the movie they find a box that contain items that allow them to do various things which one of them allows them to generate a portal.
A time portal was the end result, of course one of the kids manages to do a space portal and cause a power blackout for most the Pacific Northwest.
It's a slight tear jerker at the end of the movie but it was enjoyable to watch.
