I know this article is a few days old, but this story has really caught my attention. There is so much evidence against him, and he still pleads innocent. Poor family, I hope they get some closure.
What was that Witness doing at Kahana Bay in the middle of the night? Is he haunted by his girlfriend's death, and goes there to search for clues?
I can't imagine why Lankford would want to hide the body. Maybe he hit her with his pest control truck, and because she was still conscious, told her to get into the truck so he could take her to a hospital. She may have died along the way. Did he freak out and then try to dispose of the body? Why would he do that?
I think it's probably a matter of time before he confesses. He doesn't look like the type who could keep this in.
