$200. for a 73 minute film...Amazing! I love it when a local, indie filmmaker gets recognized. I wonder how much HBO paid for it?

yeah, i wish i knew. i hope it's enough to fund more film making! (on a similar note, i haven't watched "the lot" but i do hope some deserving director gets the help he/she needs to make it big.)

I LOVE "On the Lot"! Some of the short films have shown a tremendous lack of talent while others have been incredible. A one minute film, Danger Zone (http://www.thelot.com/episodes/?ep=3&vd=52), that screened last week consisted of one, single, solitary take. It was amazing! IIRC, the director said it took 47 takes before he got it. :eek: I always cringed when I had to work on a one take, :30 commercial. I can't even imagine :60!
