Now heres a reason to fly to Hilo to enter or just to experience.
Our first ever Barbeque Cook off Competition! Airfare are low on all airlines so it's no excuse not to check it out! It is a two day event which includes entertainment and firework to conclude the events!

There is even a additional Poke catagory to add points to your teams entry! I am stoked that they will be having this event in Hilo!
I wonder if the Food Network will cover this event?

I know the people who are putting it on and they recently called me to do a job for them. They own a T shirt company here in hilo.

As for me entering, I dont think so, I may give the judges food poisoning! Im also way to consumed with my commisision work at the moment.

Should be something to see and experience! I always wanted to experience one of these after seeing it on the Food Network for the past year.

Please say hi when you are in Hilo with your husband! I will be with my wife and kids videotaping this event and and enjoying the food and festivities!

I will be sure to post pictures here for those who don't make it up to Hilo.
