  • Is the ISS a Billion-Dollar Money Pit?

    I'm just wondering since the station's six computers crashed, and they're responsible for life support (i.e., oxygen recycling) and keeping the station in orbit. Are we halfway through the construction of the complete station?

    The ISS has cost the USA about $100 billion to date.

    For comparison, Operation Iraqi Freedom has cost about $300 billion to date, at about $5 billion a month.
