Anybody remember the mini-series V? Well... if you do, then you'll be glad to hear that in 2008 NBC is doing a sequel. Here's the lowdown....

....V: The Second Generation (2008)

Format: Miniseries; two 2-hour segments airing Oct. 1, 2008

Novelization: Oct, 2007

Network: NBC

Director/Writer: Kenneth Johnson (Alien Nation, V, Incredible Hulk, 6 Million Dollar Man)

Synopsis: Twenty years after their arrival on Earth, the Visitors have deeply entrenched themselves on the planet, enslaving the human race turning them into followers. The Resistance is losing the war with their alien masters until they gain a powerful and mysterious new ally....Or have they?

Diana: Jane Badler (original cast)

Dr. Juliet Parrish: Faye Grant (original cast)

Mike Donovan: Marc Singer (original cast)

Willie: Robert Englund (original cast)

I know it's a long ways off and things can change, but I have my fingers crossed.

I was, like, all hopping up and down thinking what a wonderful October it'd be. OS X Leopard and Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSP and now V!

Then I saw the "2008". *growls*

But cool news nonetheless.

Too bad the late Jason Bernard isn't around to reprise his role.

Congradulations to the fans of V!

Anyone else remember Robert Englund, who played the Willy the Nice Alien? He went on to play Freddy Krueger in the Nightmare movies.

I'm new here, so please don't jump down my throat when I tell you this, but the above information on "V: The Second Generation" is in error. As of the last report on http://kennethjohnson.us/ , writer/director Kenneth Johnson's official website, Kenny was still working with Warner Bros. to get the miniseries into production. The only thing that's coming out for sure is the book, on October 2.

If anyone would like more information, go to Kenny's website. He can also be reached at KennyCJohnson@aol.com .
