LOL...It's not the 80's hair band Cinderella you're thinking about. It's a ballet event with the Honolulu Symphony.

Asia doesnt have this listed on their official website, however the Blaisdell Box Office Website does list it as being canceled. Any reason why, lack of ticket sales? Jefferson Starship was to be the opening act.

Just the mention of Asia had the song "Only Time Will Tell (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6GhodMhcik)" stuck in my head.

Next month's concert has been cancelled due to "logistical issues," but they are tentatively planning a new date for May of 2008.

Instead of Cinderella, maybe by then, the promoters can pair them with the Go-Go's instead, as they continue on with their Beauty and the Beat tour. ;)

I saw the Go Go's perform in Portland about 10 years ago with Berlin as the opening act. Has Belinda or the Go Go's performed in Honolulu before?

I had a major crush on Belinda when I was in high school.

Oooh, me too. But not in high school. In college.

Asia was one of my favorite bands in intermediate and high school. Steve Howe is my favorite guitarist of all time. Carl Palmer was, for a while, my second-favorite drummer, but lately he's been around fifth or sixth. I have two John Wetton solo albums and one Wetton/Downes solo album. I really, really, really wanted to see these guys, but the concert date was no good for me. I'm actually kind of glad the show is "postponed," but I hope "postponed" really does mean postponed, and not canceled.

And yes, Belinda played the Shell in '88 or '89 or thereabouts.

Did you see him when Yes (http://macpro.freeshell.org/music/Yespics/index.html) played at the Blaisdell in 2003?
