I doubt if they are are on speaking terms if they are not touring together in CSNY.

Stills and Nash have always been on good terms, if I understand correctly. CSN not touring or recording means nothing.

I'd go if it were three weeks later. I love Stills solo.

I've seen CSN here, twice. The first time was at the Shell in 87 or 88. One of the best concerts I've ever seen; just great all around. The second was at the Iniki benefit in the NBC Arena, with Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, and Jimmy Buffett. That was an okay show, but CSN was definitely not at its best, and Stills spent most of the CSN set all the way on the other end of the stage, about as far from Crosby and Nash as he could get, and cranked out some sizzling, angry guitar solos. It was a weird show.

The one at the Shell, is that the one that Neil Young showed up and played a couple of songs with them as a walk-on? I don't remember when that one was, but I was there.

Let us know how it was! I ordered the 'Just Roll Tape' from Amazon, recorded in 1968 in Joni Mitchell's studio.

A most excellent show at the MACC last night. He played for 2 hours. First half was just him and acoustic guitar. A couple of standards, a couple from "Roll the Tape" and a couple from his new CD. Second half he rocked the house. Highlights for me were an awesome rendition of "Rocky Mountain Way" (the old Joe Walsh classic), "Stop, Look, What's That Sound?" (not sure if that's the actual title - but the old Buffalo Springfield tune) and "Love the One You're With". For his encore, he came out and played "Dark Star".

By the way, the Castle Theater has awesome acoustics. Great place to see a show.

I'm hoping Graham Nash will make a cameo tonight perhaps??

Does he still live on Kauai?

Just saw a picture in the paper today of Stills and his back-up band for the gig/tour, Kenny Paserrelli/bass and Joe Vitale/percussion!
They were Joe Walsh's fab 70's band, Barnstorm.

Now I'm seriously bummed to have missed this show! I had no idea. My bad.

Years ago I had front row center seats for a fine CSN show at the Blaisdale, and Stills actually played a hot solo for me (!), true!), and got some nice pix to remember it by, but seeing the pic today has me singing the blues.
Lucky those who got to enjoy!

I went to this on Maui and it was GREAT...Stephen was in pretty good voice and of course he still has the chops! The Castle Theatre is top notch...Three Dog Night was just there and THAT was great too...especially the "opening act" they added a couple days before...Sean Na'auao and Robi Kahakalau....looks like they have just released an album together and they were fantastic...My three nephews went with me...mainly to be good sports because others bailed on me..I look over during "Fish and Poi" and the youngest (well he's 18) and his brother (21) were singing along...it was really cool...and they said later they had a GREAT time at the show....jeez I can ramble....:)
