Who's going and when? And by ticket or picket (fence-hopping :p )?

Up until this year I've attended each and every one from the beginning.

I've been disappointed with the lineups of recent years so I decided that I'd skip this year. The current local music scene sucks, IMO, (with the exception of longtime favorites Natural Vibes and Kapena, of course) so it's simply not worth paying all that $$$ anymore.

Last year with Billy's departure and the fact that I really felt like I was the oldest fool out there -- that was enough for me to stay away this year.

Dunno, maybe I just outgrew it.

Those, aside from Katchafire and Mana'o Comp., are the only 4 groups I'm gonna go and listen to (from outside...maybe try and hop...but not really worth it this year).

The scene (for the most part) does suck now...too much overly-simplistic copy-cat love-Jahwaiian. I do like Ernie Cruz's new stuff, and more of the older generation, though. The local underground Reggae scene (some roots, some not), however, is blowing up (all the guys from the old Bliss, etc). Most High, Stir Crazy, Ooklah, Melodious Solutions, Sister Pua, DubKonscious, Irie Souls, The Ionz...too many. Wish some of them were playing the shell :(
