I did a few things to try and find the source (including looking at all the photos in your photobucket albums) with no luck. It might help if you could say exactly where you first saw it.

That's not really helping me help you help her. If you seriously want some help with this, please help me by telling me where SHE first saw it.

I love this painting. Do you know anything at all about it? I could send it to an art historian I know. Was it done recently or is it rather old? It's approximate age would help a lot.

I doubt it's very old, and I have a feeling an art historian wouldn't know much about it. I'm no art scholar, but I question the artisitic merit of this piece. Still, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and all that. Personally, I think it's kind of a lousy picture, except I do like the way the subject fades into the background.

Ha ha - the art historian is a friend of mine who would probably say the same thing. I have a painting of a koi pond that he hates too. But, oh well - just trying to help :o
