I just woke up, and my Mom mentioned she saw the news interview a computer store. I turn on the TV, and I see a fellow Fort Street Mall business being interviewed by Manolo. I then put two and two together, but I just want to confirm if Manolo interviewed a store by the name of "Gadget Guyz" or "computergeekshawaii.com"?

Yes, they were talking to James Kerr from Super Geeks. He seems to be a return visitor now and again. He recommended a free software called crap cleaner, de-installer things for the junk that comes loaded on a new PC.

Manolo was talking about the kind of new little Mexican food place on Fort Street. :) They do like to give you a lot of food! It's pretty decent stuff.

Manolo gets around in the morning!

Anyway, I hope this helps? Hmmm... "fellow Fort Street Mall business?"

The place is La Taqueria de Ramiro and they have been in business for nearly a year. It did look tasty.

Kind of new. It is good! The fun part is that they don't skimp on the sour cream! "Blop!" A nice big spoonful. Trust me, you'll be full!

Damn. They're always on our behinds. Just because we use the word 'geek' in our name. Personally, I act stupid when customers ask if we're the same place as the one on King St, Punchbowl, or Kapolei.

We're the only computer repair shop here. They [supergeeks] even once brought their mascot here and passed out business cards. I was only notified of it when a coworker (not working for computergeekshawaii.com) showed me the card and told me the story.

What if we drive around in red Mazda2s? (FYI, SuperGeeks drive around in Mini Coopers)

Sprite, it was nice meeting you today. You've awoken me with your energy.

(oh, and the guy that came in while you were going out, was the cell phone repair guy)

Oh, I thought he was the Clear Wire guy! Nice to meet you too! Thank you for taking the time to educate me a little. I'm excited by what you guys are doing too!

Just to stay on topic... I have totally enjoyed the morning news on KHON this week. Everybody is out and they have had to keep things going. For those of us who do not watch the evening news much, we got to meet Justin Cruz this week on the AM news. That was nice. I like his delivery very much. And, as of this morning's news, Trini has still not had her baby yet. :)

Well, there's Crap Cleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/) for cleaning the junk files out of a PC, and then there's The PC Decrapifier (http://www.pcdecrapifier.com/) for removing all that junk found on a brand-new PC. Both free and well-regarded.

When I first skimmed thru this thread and saw words such as "crap cleaner" and "Channel 2" I thought could this be some of the hilarious informercials now running on the station in the early morning hours with Dr. Ho and his family? Those are some of the funniest things I have ever seen!

Thank you, GeckoGeek! It was the The PC Decrapifier (http://www.pcdecrapifier.com/) with the little blue waste basket. That's the one they were talking about. Thank you for that. Sorry, I just couldn't remember.

Kalihiboy, I change the channel for the infomercials... either that or I got back to sleep for just a little bit longer! :D
