Tonight (Sunday) is supposed to be the peak. Anyone else going out to watch? It peaks well after midnight, and since I usually get up at 4:30 or 5:00am, I'm not gonna stay up... but I will head outside the minute I wake up since it'll still be dark.
Supposed to be a great view of Mars, too. Hey, if I look closely, maybe I'll see where my ex-wife was born.

Um...naahhh. I'd have to direct you to the apology thread. Along those lines, though, my X is from uranus. Not YOUR'S!

my X is from uranus. Not YOUR'S! Heh. Apostrophe noted. ;)
Reminds me of a bad joke I heard in 6th grade.
Q: What's the similarity between toilet paper and the Starship Enterprise?
A: They're both circling uranus, looking for clingons.
Hey. I warned you it was a bad joke.
Maybe I should go post something in the Apology thread.

When I went out at 4:30 this morning, almost full cloud cover and some blessings rolling through. No way to see meteors.

I went to look around midnight. After a few minutes it clouded up. Didn't see nothing. :(

Has anyone been viewing Jupiter recently? Here, it's in the south-southwest sky about an hour after sunset. Through a spotting scope (or good binoculars, if you have steady hands), you can see at least four moons as well.
