No, not "Free" as in the band by that name, but "free" as in admission.
From this item (http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/2007/Sep/27/br/br7598306142.html):

Na Hoku Hanohano recording artists will hold a free concert 7 p.m. Saturday in the Mission Memorial Auditorium on the Frank F. Fasi Civic Center grounds.
Because of limited seating, reservations are required.
"An Evening with 2007 Na Hoku Hanohano Artists" will feature Paula Fuga, an innovator of her own style of modern Hawaiian soul; Led Kaapana, master of stringed instruments; Mahela, daughter of veteran performer Marlene Sai; and musical groups Kaukahi and Pali, according to a news release.
"It is a pleasure for the city to work with the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts in hosting the concert. This event will not only allow artists to share and perpetuate their music, it will be our way of sharing our civic space for the enjoyment of residents and visitors of Honolulu," Mayor Mufi Hannemann said in the release.
The concert is supported by a grant from the Mayor's Office of Culture and the Arts.
To make a reservation, call the Hawaii Academy of Recording Artists, 593-9424. Seating is limited to 300 people and parking will be available in the Frank F. Fasi Municipal Parking Structure. No food or drinks are allowed in the auditorium.
