I seem to recall a story a bit more than a year ago, where some air carrier was considering adding a new route that would make direct flights between Hawaii and Alaska.

Does anyone knowanything about this?

Couldn't find anything in search.

I googled and got this:
Alaska Airlines to fly year-round from Anchorage to Hawaii

Great!

Thanks!
Now all I need is a rental car reservation and a fishing pole.

I must have used wrong keyword or something (DAH!), but thanks, again.

I forgot this bit of news posted yesterday on PBN. Yay for feeds:

Looks like they'll be expanding their services even before the flights have begun.

YIKES!

It looks like they are adding flights to the existing route through Seattle instead of starting up a direct flight from HNL in December.
