What an amazing oldies lineup of stars, I didnt know Eddie Brigati was still performing when the Rascals came to town about 6 years ago he wasnt touring with them. Big fan of him as well as the others!

Before Tom Moffatt scaled down his shows, the Blaisdell saw some strong oldies lineups as well. One show in 1999 featured Lesley Gore, Little Anthony & the Imperials, Mark Lindsay (of Paul Revere & the Raiders fame), the Angels, Freddy "Boom Boom" Cannon, and Eddie Holman.

Another show I enjoyed was in 2004, which had a British Invasion theme. I would have gone to that show just for Chad & Jeremy alone, but there was also Gerry & the Pacemakers, Herman & the Hermits.

seems like there's often an oldies lineup at near year's eve in waikiki. an old group that i always appreciate watching when they're in town is tower of power. even with a small crowd, they put on a great show!

I went to that show at the Blaisdell Center. Line-up included the Association (Larry Ramos of Kauai), Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits, and Felix Cavaliere of the Rascals.

Last year they had the Pointer Sisters at the Sheraton Waikiki, this year it will be Cyndi Lauper. Oldie's for some I guess!

Some of these shows are sort of high priced, I remember the 4 Tops a few years back was expensive, glad they are coming with the Pops in December, and at a much cheaper price.

I know Tommy Sands did some New Years Shows years ago.
