  • Any local people rode the "tourist trollies" for fun?

Since I'll be bored out of heck for the next 3 weeks, I'm thinking of hitching a ride with the tourists to attractions.

Is that possible/legal to do? What if I help out the guides by telling some interesting facts about the islands/culture?
How'd I get so white and nerdy?

They'll take your money just like anyone else's.

For awhile, not long after the Aloha Tower Marketplace opened, one of the trolley services from there to Waikiki was free so I always took it. Much more fun than riding TheBus.

I've taken the trolley since it sort of went to where I wanted to go...Kaimuki. It 's fun! And you can here people speaking their native tongue and not have to respond! And it's reasonable...$2.
