Kind of neat this guy from Cincinnati wrote this song about UH. He has no connections to Hawaii and got 'inspired' by watching them play on ESPN just in the past two weeks.

How many more UH Warriors inspired songs ... and dare I say, poems and haiku ... are there?

There's also Willie K's collaboration with Robert Kekaula and Vili the Warrior (!), "Warriors Cry (http://www.honoluluadvertiser.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071215/LIFE15/712150302/1192/LIFE15)," coming to iTunes on Tuesday.

I like Frank, but this one just isn't up to his standards. Not very clever, except parts of the first verse. This pales in comparison to his excellent "Had a Bad Day" parody last year.

Still, a fun song and fun to listen to.

KHON last week reminded us of the Mike Post contribution to UH Warrior-inspired tunes, previously discussed (http://www.hawaiithreads.com/showthread.php?t=2290) (and largely dismissed). Apparently the tune or tunes are part of the Saturday pre-game ritual at the stadium?
