On Friday, January 11, the Iraqi people woke up to falling snow. For most of the people living in Baghdad, they have never seen snow. And for a day, though short lived, the skies were filled with snowflakes instead or mortars and gunfire.
Although I'll never see snow falling in Honolulu, its great to see how a simple thing could stop the fighting and bring peace, though short lived, to a war torn place.
