The Titans made the playoffs, but really sucked offensively. Some blame Vince Young, some blame John Madden (what? you don't know about the Madden Curse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madden_curse)?), and I guess some blame Norm Chow (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080116/sp_nm/nfl_titans_dc), one of the most successful OCs in America in recent years.

Okay, I know McMackin's as good as in at Manoa, and I know that Chow should pretty much have his pick of jobs, but what if McMackin got the HC job and Chow came on as OC, to finish out his career in front of his hometown? C'mon, that would be...sweet.

That would essentially complete a winning team of coaches that could settle doubt in the mind of recruits, bluechip or otherwise.

Don't forget about ex Michigan St. coach John L. Smith as a potential new head coach for UH. He just have to Yakuza style his middle finger as a show of loyalty.

But does Norm Chow want to come back to the islands as UH OC?

I'm trying to gauge what the news media quoted his "lukewarm" comment means regarding the then-vacant HC position.

Calm down, bear-boy. Neuheisel's still the coach. Let's see if you're still excited when, in four years, UCLA is under NCAA sanctions!
