Hi there,
I fully realise there is lots of snow each year on Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea but there is scant information or pictures of the occasional snow thats falls on Hualalai.
I've done vast google searches and the only image of such an event is a small 18 kb gif image of a photograph at the Parker Ranch Museum. I think it was taken in 1936..If anyone has seen these snowfalls or has heard about them, please share these very rare observations here.
I'll bet there was a least a little snow there in the event that brought hail to Kona earlier this year.
Regards,
Lens

I've posted a picture here (http://pixdaus.com/?sort=userlast&name=Ms.O) of snow on Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa and Hualalai taken in 1937. Ther was A LOT of snow at that time.

Pretty cool.
