It was overcast yesterday afternoon, and the sun looked like one of those soft glow light bulbs. There was a high altitude layer of clouds, like frosted glass. Underneath were fluffy, gray clouds with dark blue shadows. It was rather nice driving on H-1, Ewa bound, at 6pm as the sun was low in the sky.
Did anyone by chance get a pic of it?

Haha, I'm glad I'm not the only one who stared at it for too long. Soon I was like, "Ow, this hurts."

Would this shot of the sun (http://www.flickr.com/photos/helen_rapozo/2474839491/) do? And it was taken around 6:04 pm

:D
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought it was picture worthy. Driving on H-1 was a little surreal with the sun like that. Made me wish I was carrying a camera.
If you don't mind me asking, where did you take that picture from? The walkway is rather wide, and flanked by funky light posts. Reminds me of the mainland.

It was taken at Honolulu Community College.
