:) Yay!! My sweetie wants to treat me to a spa day!! I have no idea where to go! Help!
I want a facial and pedicure, (no manicure!), and probably a massage. For a FAIR PRICE! (I'm not gonna go throwing my honey's money around!)
Any ideas?

Sorry, no ideas, but I will be stealing ideas from this thread for my wife ;)
Sven's such a sweety!
I took my wife and girls to Sephora for the first time recently. The girls took to the place like ducks to water. They walked out with 10 perfume sample sticks. My wife made a bee line to the Bare Escentuals makeup. Can you believe there's shampoo...for your brush! I think I opened a can of worms. A day at a spa would have been cheaper in the long run QQ

There's a great day spa in Kailua called Hina'ea Spa, it's over on Uluniu across from Cinnamons. I don't think they have a website but their number is 261-5200. A few months ago I booked a package that was a 90 minute facial and massage combo for $75! Their facialists are great, as well as their massage therapists. I've never had a mani or pedi there.
In Honolulu, I recommend Heaven on Earth's Koolani location, which is the nicest spa I've ever been to (but it ain't cheap!), Heaven on Earth on Alakea, or Ho'onani on Kapahulu.
ETA: Hinaea does have a website: http://www.hinaeaspahawaii.com/spamenu. I got the "Mini facial cleanse with a 30 min massage refresher (1hr 30m): $75".

I'll second Heaven on Earth (Alakea) for massages. I'm loyal to Connie Gayle (947-9777) for facials. That woman works miracles (just check my avatar)! :D Seriously, she knows her stuff. I haven't had a mani or pedi in at least 20 years so no suggestions there! Still, my guess is you're looking for a one-stop-shop, turtlegirl. Sounds like there's one very close to you.

Heaven on Earth is great except it (at least the downtown one) doesn't have a shower. I really prefer being able to shower off the lotion especially if it's scented, even if it might be nice while I am being massaged and especially if I am not going to go home and shower right after. A friend once got me a spa day at the Kahala Mandarin that included a facial, massage and sauna. It was fabulous but I didn't pay for it so I don't know what it costs (but I would guess it's pricey).

Actually, it does. It's in the restroom (downstairs and kind of out of the way) so I don't know if customers can use it as it would tie up use of the loo. I liked the design of it and took a photo which I now can't find!

Thanks, girls!!
I checked out both spa's websites. Heaven on Earth seems a little spendy for me right now, but Hinaea might be just right. And it's in my neighborhood. Yay!

Pedicures seem pretty expensive here. In LA I used to get pedis for 12 bucks. Best price I've seen so far here is $30. Is that the going rate?

The last pedi I had in Honolulu was 20 years ago and it was $20. Dunno why I remember that when I can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning!

Huh. The last couple times I went there (which were a while ago), I was told there were no shower for massage customers so I stopped going there. :p

Here it is. Now I remember that I took the photo for the tile, not the accessories...yet! :D
