I've heard some people say that, but my local wife says she considers him (and any Portagees) haole...thoughts?

I've heard some people say that, but my local wife says she considers him (and any Portagees) haole...thoughts?I notice this thread keeps coming back to the question: “what is the meaning of the word haole?” There is a thread for that (http://www.hawaiithreads.com/showthread.php?t=1768), so if that is the real question you meant to ask, rather than what your topic implies, I would suggest you take the debate there. ;)

Okay, so I had some time to think about it. After further consideration, I decided to stand by my original post. Famous haole= Duke Aiona. :D
Did anyone mention Laird Hamilton aka Lance Burkhart? I still don't know why he tried to cheat Rick Kane out of a Pipe masters title, that snake.
