It’s that time. The Warriors (http://www.hawaiiathletics.com/) are about to take on the Wildcats in Hawai‘i’s first home game. It’s the battle of the local boy QBs as Kahuku grad Inoke Funaki reps his hometown and St. Louis boy Cameron Higgins straps it on for Weber State. UH is coming off a stinging loss to the 5th-ranked Florida Gators. Will they rebound against a tough FCS team that stomped its last opponent by an eight-TD margin? Predictions? :)

Is there a way one can watch the game online ... preferably one who is without cable or dish?

Oceanic streams the game on the internet for $12.56(PPV) per game.

Note: In Hawaii you need to be a Road Runner Customer. Outside Hawaii, doesn't matter who the ISP is.

If you have Verizon High Speed Internet(Not Hawaiian Tel) you can watch the game on espn360.com

Are we now assuming that most people aren’t watching the games live? Anyway... what happened? Things seemed smooth after that first drive.

Dan Kelly misses his second field goal attempt and it is still 17-7 as the Warriors head to the tunnel at the end of the first half. What is going on with UH? Funaki is not getting the coverage he needs and it’s like day one of spring practice for the befuddled offensive line. :(

Hopefully the bafoonery with the QB is done.

Graunke is the QB.

If Coach Mack keep flipping them, I might start calling him MackVonAppen.

If any of you were deciding whether or not to watch the replay tonight or tomorrow, I'd recommend you watch. Turned out to be a good game!

You have to feel for Inoke Funaki. It's not good thing that a running quarterback gets hurts quickly. Was it a concussion of Funaki or confusion by the coaches for the bad "time management" towards the end of the first half?

:o hi this is sansei and i saw the highlight's and i think tyler did a great job since inoki got injured and i dont mind inoki,he does need to be trained more and tyler as being colt's heir apparent,he'll do the job and i agree put him in as the Qb he'll do great.

Well thank's for your time:o

I don’t think the trainers would lie about something as serious as a concussion. I’m sure the coaches know they could have managed the clock better. But clearly, Tyler Graunke has demonstrated he's the best quarterback in UH’s arsenal and not a moment too soon. After opening the season with two losses, Oregon State is going to come out swinging on their home turf, and Hawai‘i needs to bring it if they expect to compete at Beaver Stadium.

Meh. Granted, Graunke is definitely the QB, but hasn't been a model student athlete. It's all on him. We could have had him in Florida, had he resolved his academic issues a long time ago.

Perhaps we should chip in for his personal tutoring fund.

We wouldn't have won in Florida with Ty or probably even Colt, and he may not have been called on. If he had, we might have lost him for the year to injury. So, things have worked out for the best. Ty is now a better person and the team/Coach Mack is stoked. Plus, we know where the other QBs stand, and they need plenty more work.

Looking ahead ---

Nice to see that Fox Sports Northwest will broadcast the UH/Oregon State game in the Seatle area next Saturday afternoon at 1:00. I won't be home to see it, but the AF will.

Probably not, but at least we could have more points up on the board.

McMackin tough on Gaunke (http://www.honoluluadvertiser.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080908/SPORTS0201/809080359/1032[/url)

Just hope that Inoke is back soon.
