I was just sitting around, exploring the HT site - trying to get my mind off a certain VP candidate - when I discovered this interesting feature. Y'all probably already know this trick, but if you go to "members" and click on "posts" you can order the list from most posts to least.

Also, 1958 HT members (around 45%) have never posted or are dead file names. I read someplace that a typical interest group will have less than 10% of the members who are active on a regular basis. It appears that only about 2% of HT members are regular posters.

i prefer making ht a part of my day than long's. hadn't patronized those stores in almost a decade until rececently when a gift card was received recently. i spent that $500 as fast as i could.

i didn't even notice that i was an "ali'i" member. addicted--nah. i'm home 24/7, retired before 50 (not by choice) and help to care for mom who has end stage alzheimer's. so as you can see, i have a lot of time on my hands and the internet lets me connect to the "outside" world.

however, we're busy doing minor repairs and painting to this home so that it can be rented. our plans in the very near future are to move to the biggest island. i'll be shopping at walmart over there until whomever takes over long's. i do miss craigwatanabe's posts. maybe i'll see him over at the home depot in hilo?

I got a e-mail from Craig yesterday. He is doing well, albeit very busy though at his new job at Big Island Toyota. Hence why he hasn't been posting since July.

I am so glad to hear that is why he stopped posting. I had feared he disliked too many "liberals" getting on his case (not me of course :rolleyes:). While I may not always agree with his views, I always enjoyed the banter he provided. Hope he stops back in now and then.
