They were wooden on the bottom, real similiar to a Dr. Scholls but the wedge part was carved and painted all kinds of different hawaiian themes. They were gorgeous, I got two pair and would all but kill to find them again!! Anyone that is 35 and living in Hawaii would surely recall these shoes!!???

What a drag.........Carebears, Strawberry shortcake and every dang thing else from the 80's is back but not KLONKAS (sp?)........I never even knew if they were available here on the states however. Darn darn darn!!!!
