Now, here's a gadget I never knew I wanted, but must have now that I know it exists. radioSHARK (http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/radioshark/) is like a TiVo for your AM/FM radio. Sweet! Now I can listen to This American Life without having to remember when it's playing on HPR, or hassle with bursty streaming audio on a slow Internet connection. This thing generates AIFF files and stores them on your hard drive - do any portables other than iPods play AIFF?

I wonder if this or future versions will work with XM or Sirrius radio.... or with Oceanic's Music Choice service.
