That's a big air conditioner. I didn't know they made portable units with that capacity, but I guess they do (http://www.nextag.com/Air_Conditioners~2700410z0z_aAC_BTU:%3E+20000z_aAi r_Conditioner:Portable+Air+ConditionerzBwzmainz5-htm). They're not cheap!

I got one of those little ones from City Mill, second hand, but never hooked it up. I figured by the time I got the window vent thing set up, the weather would turn cooler... and it has. A bit.

yikes! i clicked on that link and saw the prices *gasp*. a friend of a friend picked up a 20k BTU a/c for about $500 so i am looking at spending around that much.
