Going up to the main page, the site is just yet another blog of weird and strange things - stupid Flash tricks, strange movie clips, and bizarre photos. I suspect this (http://www.blennus.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=52&Itemid=) is what we were supposed to check out. Weird pranks you can play on cats, courtesy the unfailingly bizzare Japanese television industry.

Thanks for "fixing" the error Pzar. It was funny to watch but the poor cat got very confused. Why would you want to experiment on a cat in that way :(

Hi,

Some people got a sick sense of humor. I'm not a cat lover but I bet there's people who would find this offensive. Why confuse the cat, I guess, just for laugh's.

Compared to more infamous online cat mangling enterprises, like "cat scans" and "bonsai kittens," this stuff is relatively benign. Frankly, the built-in "safety features" of felines as demonstrated in this Japanese video are pretty interesting. A cat will apparently trust what its skin is telling it, for example, more than what its eyes are seeing.

Speaking of cats, there's a genetics company who is engineering a line of hypoallergenic cats (http://www.allerca.com/). At $3500 per cat (and pre-neutered, so you won't be able to breed your own) this is pretty pricey. Maybe it might be cheaper to just get a lifetime supply of antihistamines.

I'll just get a dog. You pay so much for something that could easily get killed. The cat might end up eating a poisoned cockroach :\
