GOP Ticket Topper in 2008?

An interesting point to ponder: in 2008, who will be the Republican candidate for President? Anybody want to take bets that it won't be Dick Cheney?

I'd put money on Tom DeLay.

I thought it was a given that Cheney wouldn't run. I remember reading somewhere that, if Bush-Cheney took 2004, the 2008 election would be the first in decades where the incumbent party's candidate wasn't a sitting president or VP.

Some folks were talking about Bill Frist. I like John McCain. I truly hope it's not Jeb Bush... but some folks think so.

...unless, of course, they manage to abolish the 22nd Amendment and get rid of that pesky two-term limit.
