Hey, how's it going? I need some serious help with the parade tomorrow.

As we are one of the first krews rolling, we have to be up at 5 AM sharp and I need to figure out how to make a Grass Skirt.

I have a Palmutto tree. That will work, right?

Won't that be a little scratchy? :p I guess you could tie a bunch of fronds together into a skirt, but I think you would have to trim them quite a bit, as the palmetto tree fronds I remember were looooong.

Or, you could just get a wad of green fabric (cotton), sew some elastic at one end and then shred the other end. Besides, everybody will be so snockered who will know (or care)?
