Hawaiian Air reduces efares by 22%

Good news for interisland travellers: Hawaiian Air has announced that it will match the interisland fares currently being offered by Aloha, which effectively reduces some fares by 22% as of today.

It's still pricier than using the charters, but for those of us who like flying on jets and not cloud hoppers, it means it'll be more affordable to go visit Tutu in Hilo.

It ain't $35, but it ain't $215 either. Good news. Our family is planning a pilgrimage to Hawi next month, so this came just in time. It'll still be an expensive trip... just not as expensive as originally thought.
