I came to Hawaii in 2003 and had a great time. I wrote a song about my trip. http://www.jimcolyer.com/music/

HAWAII

I made it to Hawaii
Finally
Touched down on Oahu
Strolled down Waikiki

I climbed Mauna Kea
The stars were great
I made it to Hawaii
Our 50th state

Palm trees swaying in the ocean breeze
Hula girls dancing for me
Honolulu is so nice
It's paradise

I made it to Hawaii
Finally
Touched down on Oahu
Strolled down Waikiki

I climbed Mauna Kea
The stars were great
I made it to Hawaii
Our 50th state

Pearl Harbor is something to see
Those men kept us free
Diamond Head Crater too
What a view!

I made it to Hawaii
Finally
Touched down on Oahu
Strolled down Waikiki

I climbed Mauna Kea
The stars were great
I made it to Hawaii
Our 50th state

Just thought you guys should be aware that Jim Colyer is a forum troll. If you don't believe me, do a search for his name on Google. If he were the great song writer he claimed to be, you'd probably find links talking about his music and how great it is ... WRITTEN BY OTHER PEOPLE. In reality, if you do a search on his name (go ahead and try if you don't believe me), you will get nothing but message boards in return. Mr. Colyer makes a habit of posting to forums that have nothing to do with music and discussing how great he thinks his music is. So don't let him fool you! BEWARE OF THE FORUM TROLL!!

Thanks for the publicity. Go to my website and listen to my songs. Read my best 100 lyrics, then tell me what you think. http://www.jimcolyer.com/music/

I wrote a song called Save The Planet. Melissa DuVall will record it in Nashville. Let's clean up the environment and usher in world peace. Listen: http://www.jimcolyer.com/music/

SAVE THE PLANET

We're floating on a grain of sand in the vastness of space
If future generations are going to inherit this place
We've got to Save The Planet
Do something while there's still time
Save The Planet
This earth is yours and mine

The tropical rainforest is disappearing more everyday
We'll never replace it, we'd better not burn it away
Save The Planet
The wonders of nature are free
Save The Planet
Have you ever planted a tree?

If the skies are blue
And the oceans too
Isn't this a better home for me and you?
If the air is clean
And the land is green
Wouldn't you like to be part of this lovely scene?

I'm thinking of the animals that once roamed the African plain
Their numbers have dwindled, and pretty soon none will remain
Save The Planet
Do something while there's still time
Save The Planet
This earth is yours and mine
Save The Planet
The wonders of nature are free
Save The Planet
Have you ever planted a tree?

Save The Planet
Save The Planet
Save The Planet

ALL ROADS LEAD TO YOU is another song I recorded in Nashville. People like it. Listen....

ALL ROADS LEAD TO YOU
http://jimcolyer.com/@tracks/3/lofi.mp3

ALL ROADS LEAD TO YOU

I can travel the world, circle the globe
Take a trip to Mars
Wear myself out on a lost highway
Reaching for the stars
A million men may want me
Baby, I'll be true
I'll be there when you need me
All Roads Lead To You

Sometimes I feel like I've been down
Every dead-end street
I pick myself up, make a U-turn
Get back on my feet
If the lights are green and the skies are blue
Honey, I'll get through
I'll be there when you need me
All Roads Lead To You

If there's a way home, I'll find it
Let your love light burn until then
I'll make my way through this traffic
To be in your arms again

Solo

I can travel the world, circle the globe
Take a trip to Mars
Wear myself out on a lost highway
Reaching for the stars
A million men may want me
Baby, I'll be true
I'll be there when you need me
All Roads Lead To You
I'll be there when you need me
All Roads Lead To You
All Roads Lead To You

I don't give red chicklets. I'd rather stand up publicly and tell someone how I feel. Just like I do in real life. Anyway, is this guy a total spam monger or what?

I wrote and recorded Merry Christmas. It is the only Christmas song with both Santa Claus and Jesus Christ in it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS http://jimcolyer.com/@tracks/128/hifi.mp3

MERRY CHRISTMAS

We got so many presents under the Christmas tree
Santa Claus has been good to you and me
As you steal a kiss under the mistletoe
Merry Christmas to you

We got turkey and dressing smothered in cranberry sauce
We got honeybaked ham and a bottle of wine of course
In the candlelight, I propose this toast
Merry Christmas to you

Snow is falling, friends are calling
The neighborhood's dressed in white
Bells are ringing, the choir is singing
Their version of "Silent Night"

We won't forget the real meaning of this day
The day on which our Savior was born
It's Jesus Christ on my Christmas card
Merry Christmas to you
Oh yeah!

solo

Snow is falling, friends are calling
The neighborhood's dressed in white
Bells are ringing, the choir is singing
Their version of "Silent Night"

We won't forget the real meaning of this day
The day on which our Savior was born
It's Jesus Christ on my Christmas card
Merry Christmas to you
Merry Christmas to you

Well, if you don't count "Here Comes Santa Claus," that is. It includes the lyric: "Let's give thanks to the Lord above, 'cause Santa Claus comes tonight." But maybe that's a different Lord...?

Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,

IM THE ONE http://jimcolyer.com/@tracks/144/hifi.mp3

I'M THE ONE

Living on an obscure planet on the edge of the galaxy
Surrounded by a universe of fear and uncertainty
6 billion people, clinging to their faith with no guarantee
But when we're alone like this, honey, it's just you and me

I'm The One, I'm The One who loves you
I'm The One who rallies to your side
And everyday, I bless the day I found you
I'm The One, I'm The One who loves you

Caught up in the contradictions of a global society
I wonder if you understand the Asian economy
I'm wondering, too, if you can be happy with a man like me
But when we're alone like this, honey, it's your destiny

I'm The One, I'm The One who loves you
I'm The One who rallies to your side
And everyday, I bless the day I found you
I'm The One, I'm The One who loves you

Trying to read your thoughts and feelings
Trying to stay close to you
Reaching beyond mere happenstance
Willing to take a chance

I'm The One, I'm The One who loves you
I'm The One who rallies to your side
And everyday, I bless the day I found you
I'm The One, I'm The One who loves you
I'm The One, I'm The One who loves you

Hey molokai from UtahJim, your self-promotional conduct has been consistently inappropriate, despite subtle and not-so-subtle messages to that effect, and this crosses the line. Please advertise your music elsewhere.
