Hi Everyone,

We are in the pre-planning stages to tie the knot on the island of oahu with our honeymoon extending to the islands of maui and kauai. This is a very exciting time for us and we would love to acquire any advice or feedback from fellow members here in regards to what companies to consider and look into to perform/plan our wedding on oahu.

It will likely be a simple wedding with parents, grandparents, and siblings (flying in from their respective homes) on the beach and then just a small dinner to celebrate after the ceremony.

I would get married on Maui. My wife and I did that with a wedding service we found on the net ( I can't remember the name, but thier slogan is "just maui'd").
They arranged the license... rev...cake...location ...tux...photos and flowers for about $1500( this was back in 2000). It was a no stress day in Kapalua. :)

Well...

That's good in all, that you can have some wedding planner company
to help you out. My husband & I didn't have that & didn't choose any
wedding company to help us out. We did everything ourselves,
including buying the wedding cake & outfits ourselves,
& plus with help of other friends & family, & I am sure that
we proabaly saved a bundle. At the end, we got married infront
of the water fountain in Pagoda.

With all the fund donations towards our wedding gifts,
we both had enough to pay back everything & then some.

BTW- March 23rd, marked our 3 years anniversary together. Woo Hoo!.

Thankgoodness we have not killed each other, yet. :D
Hah! Just kidding. We are still a happy couple
like we just got married yesterday. ;)
