It would be nice if a time and station was specified in your post about the Edgy Lee's film.
boy, Helen, There's no pleasing some people, eh!?
ok, look: I am not the online TVguide.
I am no one's employee,
And I know I don't work for you.
Now, if this is your way of saying:
"don't post dis kine stuffs unless you offer aaaaalllll details so anyone with the slightest interest can tune in..."
then ok. Say it, please.
Yea, sure it would be nice, but then, it would be nice if I had a solid gold toilet seat too.
But it ain't in the cards, is it?
I say this publicly because this is not the first time this kine thing is conveyed.
(too often, I see it demanded: "hey, kimo. YOU go search it out and then gimme all the details!")
IF... someone is interested in this at all, THEY will do the rest o' da manini work and find exact time and place. I dunno what da hell it is!
I just remembered I heard Lee's film was on again. And I mentioned that.
Anyone who really wants to see it, will tune in and / or look it up, and their efforts will be rewarded.
Now, if I were to post info on MY production, I will of course be happy to provide all relevant minutiae.
But it ain't my deal. I am not Lee's publicist.

Well I suppose I should have suggested that if not the time and station, maybe at least the title of the show should have appeared in the post.

I must admit that I have really been wanting to watch the new Edgy Lee film, but with the scant details provided, I was unable to find it (after searching TV guide).
:-(
If anybody knows of when it will be coming on tv again, I'd gladly search for the info myself if given enough to search with (and a few pointers on where to search)!
And I'm one of those who jokes that "if you can't find it on the Internet, it ain't worth searching for, so I assure you that I'm pretty good at finding what I want if I have enough info!" :p
Thanks

I would start by searching our own threads here which will bring you to the title of the flik as well as Edgy's web site where you could even email them and ask... Or tv guide's site...

Well, that was fassin.. atin'.
Hope you caught that Massie case PBS thingy just now.
Amazing insight into a Hawaii of early 1930 so few are aware of. Events and social setting that shaped who we are now.
See it on PBS if you missed it.

Thank you Bro Kimo for the reminder of The Massie Case. I watched the discussion before the documentary too. I knew somewhat of it but never really bothered to find out. The film captured my attention and interest. I enjoyed seeing how things were in that era. Seemed like they had more people than now. I was sad to see Kahahawai's gravestone not in place. I would assume that he has relatives still and they would upkeep his grave. Maybe, The Office Of Hawaiian Affairs or some other agency could help out. He died a vicious death and wronged even after death.

(do you remember the old Aala Park area? Back in the 60's? ;) There was a film made about it entitled, "Destruction Of A Community" or something like that. I saw it once at Honolulu Community College in the Library while a student there. I can't find it now.

Only t'ing spoiled da t'ing;
those abraisive car commercials with that obnoxious mainland alternative rock music blaring 3 times the volume of da show.
and those incredibly obnoxious lawyer commercials.
gawd. that ruined it.
But nah, not'ing goin ruin Eddie's memory.

apparently, da massie show may be re broadcast 2 pm sunday. But who really knows. this was seen in da advertiser. and one day they had ten separate corrections in the;
"getting it straight"
column.
and today, the mention is in that column. as a correction.
so no one is sure.
but the tv guide web site has the listing up...
