Does anybody think the real estate bubble will ever bust?
Not as long as mortgage rates stay low and the stock market is iffy. Lots of Boomers who lost money in the stock market crash a couple of years ago are starting to invest in real estate, because the thinking is the value can never go down. That's why you're seeing a lot of people from the Mainland buying up (and jacking up real estate prices at the same time) housing and real estate in Hawai'i. Lot of it is for second homes or investment.
