Yeah and a thread about who to suck up to! Just kidding!!!!

When I first came on I only was reading the Hawaii Media posts because that's my industry. But then I stuck my big toe in, bunyon and all, and thought hey this is a lot of fun.

I really don't know why, years and years after the Internet and lists have been in existence, people don't sit back and read for a week at least before jumping in. To me it's a matter of survival, of understanding the climate, of seeing who's smart, who's so dumb they get abused, who's the jokester, who's the village idiot, who's the freakin' activist that rants for pages, who's the skinny guy with sideburns that smokes too much, who's the high school drop out come wise old sage.

There are a couple of other things I like about HT:
1. Getting to read others' thoughts.
2. Getting story ideas!
3. Building friendships
4. Good-natured ribbing
5. Realizing who people are for real and keeping it to myself. (do I know YOU?)
