View Full Version : Since when H1 was renamed?

I thought renaming the freeways was a joke, but according to this map (http://www.cellreception.com/towers/details.php?id=1247739) it has the H1 as Queen Lilioukalani (and I was checking out some cell phone antennas from another site, so don't worry about that ;) ).
What's the other freeways called?

It's been called that since 2002. And by the way, the spelling is wrong - it should be Lili'uokalani, not Lilioukalani. Blame Google Maps for that one. There's a good summary here (http://www.hawaiihighways.com/oahu.htm) of the highways of O'ahu.

This reminds me of that whole flap over the H-3's Tets Harano Tunnels becoming the John A. Burns Tunnels... becoming the Harano Tunnels again. Works for me... the whole freeway is named after Burns anyway.
