That is cool, I like him very much, but I could have sworn that he was on a PBS program some years ago that was nationally televised.

Jake was on a talk show on CMT (country music television) last week, too. That was trippy. He looks really different.

yea. da odda day, saw him poppin outta his limo with his posse; 8 big blalahs and 11 titas, he had big bugeye sunglasses on, a gold and diamond blingbling ring fully covering his knuckles that read JAKE.
He was carrying a zebra fur covered ukulele, and his hair wuz all done up in cornrows. Wore a kidrock logo wifebeater and then, big woolly muckluks on his feet, that rose above his knees, covering neon yellow spandex pants.
ya. He da man.

Maybe he'll duet with Triumph The Insult Comic Dog. Or at least the Masturbating Bear.
My favorite Conan regular character though is the FedEx Pope.

Triumph:
"Eh Jake Simmishimmikookoo; let's do a duet... DO it yerself!"
"Eh Jake; sing a solo; So low we can't hear it!"

It was a beautifully produced show. If you google on "Hawaii, Songs of Aloha"+dvd you can get a copy of your very own!

Oh man. I hope you joking.
I saw his rock and roll look already but that sounds messed up.

Jake is going to be quite busy in mid-December. He is going to be performing at the Honolulu Marathon luau/concert/carbo-load bash at the Waikiki Shell on December 9, along with Riders On The Storm. Those bashes are always a ton of fun; I seldom miss them. Then he is off cross-country to NYC for the O'Brien show on the 13th. He certainly keeps himself active!

Even better than that--Neil Young is the musical guest all this week on Conan.
