From the same person who gave us Portable firefox (http://johnhaller.com/jh/mozilla/portable_firefox/) and Portable Thunderbird (http://johnhaller.com/jh/mozilla/portable_thunderbird/), he brings us PORTABLE OPEN OFFICE! (http://johnhaller.com/jh/useful_stuff/portable_openoffice/) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v81/adri1456/smilies/hello.gif

Portable OpenOffice.org allows you to carry an entire office suite -- word processing, spreadsheet, presentations, drawing, etc. -- with you on an iPod, USB thumbdrive, portable hard drive or any other portable media. You can plug it right into any Windows computer and use it just like you would on your own.

Also, I've seen a portable linux somewhere, so you can literally have your computer that can fit in the palm of your hands. Just plug it into any PC, then you can run your own computer!

Cool stuff. I would probably use it if I didn't get the PocketPC.

Tired of installing iTunes or winamp, or using WMP to play those 'tunes? Coolplayer (http://coolplayer.sourceforge.net/?) is a free alternative, and with the plugins, it can handle music files such as AAC/MP4, WMA and be your CD player all in one app!

Check my blog for more portable apps. </end advertising>
