UHM Housing Problem. Need Advice!

I'm a newly admitted transfer student to UHM. However, I've run into a housing problem. I have to register on Jan 4th~5th, and class instruction begins Jan 9th. However, I'm 15th on the waiting list for dorms. Although I was told that 15th in line means I will more than likely get housing, what am I supposed to do in the mean time?

You could look up YMCA/YWCA's in Honolulu for temporary housing. I don't know about now but some students used to live there during the 1970-1980's.

hey, thanks for the link. i just need somewhere temporary until housing falls through. 15th on the waiting list sounds pretty good to me too. hopefully i'll find something until i get something.
