"A 14-year-old Wai'anae boy was arrested yesterday after allegedly using his mother's debit card without her permission to withdraw money from an automated teller machine.
"The mother told police the boy used the money to buy "gifts" for himself. Police said the mother confronted the boy about the gifts and then called police to file a complaint against the boy, who was arrested about 2 p.m. on suspicion of fraudulent use of a credit card."
Tough-love lesson learned: Thou shalt not piss off thy mother.
