The catch is that you need to change your iTunes payment method to PayPal. Expires 12/31/05.
I gifted myself 2 $50. gift certificates; 150 tunes for $100. I've redeemed both. Kinda nice to see such a large credit balance AND the number of free tunes available. When a tune is downloaded the latter is deducted before the former.
