Anyone here plays the Sims games/expansion packs?

I just did a build for a friend and he loaded in a Sims game and four of it's expansion packs. With the onboard VIA video chipset the game runs just fine but a bit jerky. I upgraded his system with an ATI Radeon 64mb Rex 9200SE graphics card (system requirements calls for minimum 8mb to run).

When I start the game it reboots the computer. At first I thought PSU? Nah but I upgraded it from 220-watts to 430-watts of power, same thing.

I'm thinking it's the drivers for the graphics card as the computer reboots only when the card is installed and used.

Anyone else experienced problems with the Sims?

I got Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition for Christmas. I have a 8MB integrated
video card on my computer. I had no problems running the game, except
the graphics looked kinda junky {Probably because I don't have a 32MB
of Video RAM }. Did the computer reboot using any other software ?

I think the problem is with the drivers. I belong to two other tech boards and have found out that the Sims games have problems. EA (the company that markets Sims) is supposed to have patches to correct reboot issues depending on your BIOS.
