Thanks for coming back to this site...for some reason I can't post on the HA site. I think I've already thanked you and Mahina for doing these for the AI people who can't wait until the show is shown here in HI. It was so easy to vote last night...I got in so many votes on my reliable rotary phone! Guess the younger people couldn't stay up late...and those that have to work! ;)

It's begining, they're showing the 'red carpet' outside with arial shots. Jennifer Love-Hewitt and Christina (?) are there.

They're starting off with LaToya singing "If You Don't Know Me By Now.' She is still the professional. She has the song down and is smooth as silk.

Now they move inside the theatre and Ry talks with Diana.

Ry-Can you celebrate or are you still in compete mode?

D-says she's enjoying herself.

They cut to Georgia and show the Governor, he's saying he has a bet with the Gov of NC.

They come back with shots of people guessing on who'll win.

Ry interviews Fantasia and she says it takes two tubes of gloss for her lips.

They bring up her NC on the video where Clay is outside. The Mayor of Highpoint is on and gets blared out.

They go back outside and do interviews on the red carpet.

George Huff sings 'Me and Mrs Jones" - He's so much more relaxed and his voice is back to being really smooth and strong. He's having fun with the song.

He's still bouncy tho... LOL!

George does the same song on the Idol CD and it sounded really good. Keep up the "blow by blow" description. :D

They're back and interviewing Randy and Paula...Simon is late. Ry asks Paula if there'll be tears tonight and she said she cried last night with Fantasia.

They go out for more interviews...Ray Romano is on.

Jasmine is up singing 'Midnight Train to Georgia' She's into playing with the audience. She's far more relaxed in on stage and calls out to the audience when she sees them singing along. She has a couple of bobbles and the music fades on her before the end of the song is done but she keeps on with the stanza.

They interview Simon..(missed it) Go outside for more interviews and then show the choir rehearsing...Ryan should NOT sing!

Tamyra Grey sings the National Anthym a capella in the theatre.

There was 65 million votes done yesterday!

Ry talks with Randy, Paula and tells Simon not to stand up.

Diana comes out and sings "The Impossible Dream." Fantasia comes out singing the next stanza and then Kelly Clarkston comes out singing, followed by Ruben.

They all sing the final verses together.

It's a nice blending of voices.

Ry asks Fantasia and Diana, did you ever think you'd be here, they both tell of their amazement and happiness at being there.

They go to NC and Fantasia gets a billboard put up for her. They go to Georgia and they talk to Diana's choir teacher.

They go into last nights highlights with recaps of the judges comments for both girls....the sound effects for the different sections is done like a boxing match with rounds being called by Ry and a little bell.

Kelly Clarkston sings 'Beautiful Disaster' from her new CD....She's perched on a grand piano and wearing a gauzy foam green dress with someone's dead parakeet spread along the neckline. The song is nice though.

The top 12 come out and do a number together, "I'll Be There."

They're all dressed in white and yellow...they segue into "Untill you are Mine" (?) then into "Heaven Knows", "She works Hard for the Money", "Solid as a Rock", "Don't Mean a Thing", John S gets a little solo... Diana does "I'm still Standing" with JPL and Matt... Jennifer goes into "I Made it through the Rain"... Fantasia takes up the song now with all of them in the chorus then they end all together.

Hate to admit it, but Racer-X was "god" to me...

Diana is now next to Ry and she's going to sing "I Believe"... She's much much more relaxed today and with the choir a lot better. They cut in shots of her home fans while she sings. She's having alot of fun tonight but the song got to her and she's teary.

Both gals must be under tremendous pressure...just the waiting and both being teenagers...hugs to both for all their perseverance! ;)

Fantasia is up next singing "Dreams are for Real" along with the choir. Her hometown is shown on the screen behind her. She seems not as confident with this song as her others.

Diana and Fantasia both come out and sing "I knew You Were Waiting". They seem to work really well together each playing off the other. The girls go into a big hug at the end.

Simon goes into telling them what they win by being on AI, fame, money etc..Paula says she's proud... and Randy says they are both winners.

Ry recaps the critiques from last night for each girl.....

She breaks down crying and is hugged by Diana and says thank you...I broke my shoe!!

She goes out singing "I Believe" her brand new song...officially.

Kind of a "let down" now that it's all over. I didn't watch AI 1 or 2 so don't have anything to compare with. Ancorage Alaska...I'd like to do a cruise to there someday. Thanks eh! :)

Nope they saud Clevland, some other places I didn't catch, Alaska and Vegas.

Vegas should be an interesting city stop, and close enough for anyone serious from Hawaii to get to.
